Alzchem, one of the largest training providers in the region, welcomes 45 trainees at the start of the new training year on September 2. As in previous years, the trainee ratio of eight percent is well above the national average.
Trostberg, September 2, 2024. 45 young people are starting their careers at the Trostberg Chemical Park today - eight of them as industrial clerks, six as electronics technicians for industrial engineering, six as industrial mechanics, twelve as chemical technicians, eight as chemical laboratory technicians, two as IT specialists for system integration, two as warehouse logistics specialists and one as a technical product designer. As part of the joint training program, Alzchem offers apprenticeships on behalf of Master Builders Solutions Deutschland GmbH, Sika Deutschland GmbH, ASK Chemicals and BASF Construction Additives GmbH.
This means that Alzchem currently has a total of 148 prospective specialists on board, including two dual students for mechanical engineering. This corresponds to a training rate of 8.2 percent - 3.8 percentage points above the national average.
"Welcome to our team! You are the future of our company and we look forward to growing together with you and breaking new ground," says Karin Danner, Head of Human Resources, welcoming the trainees. “You can count on us to provide you with a reliable foundation for your future career.”
"We offer versatile and future-proof career paths here. As your trainer, I look forward to accompanying you on your path and helping you to develop your full potential. Together we will master challenges and gain valuable experience," says Alzchem Training Manager Christoph Huber on behalf of the Chemical Park.
This was followed by further words of welcome and a presentation of the company by Sabine Sieber, Head of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations. Works Council Chairman Christian Ortbauer welcomed the new team members on behalf of the employee representatives.
First of all, the trainees can look forward to four welcome days: Divided into professional groups, the schedule includes an introduction to the most important computer programs and processes, games to get to know each other and a tour of the plant. The future specialists will also receive all the tablets that will be used in their daily work and which they will be allowed to keep at the end of their training.
As a special highlight, the trainees can look forward to a team event with an overnight stay in the mountains, where they can get to know each other better in a relaxed atmosphere and have fun together.
While the trainees take their first steps into their profession in 2024, the application process for the start of training in September 2025 has already begun.
Young people who are looking for a future-proof and varied apprenticeship can submit their application documents until September 23, 2024. Further information on the apprenticeships on offer can be found at www.alzchem.com under "Careers".
