Alzchem: Funding project for the further training of shift supervisors
Trostberg, January 2, 2025. The new year starts with a comprehensive qualification program for around 170 managers, shift supervisors and deputy shift supervisors. The focus of the training is on employee communication, personal development and operational leadership.
The project will run for two years and is funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+). The ESF is the European Union's most important instrument for promoting employment in Europe. It improves access to better jobs, offers training and supports social integration.
The training comprises three main modules:
- Self-management: Here, participants learn to understand and strengthen their role as a manager. The focus is on topics such as understanding one's role, safety aspects, time management and mindfulness.
- Managing employees: This module focuses on conducting conversations and developing employees. It includes techniques for leading employees, giving feedback and managing conflicts.
- Managing teams: Forming and leading high-performing teams, managing change and difficult leadership situations.
“With this project, our company is making a targeted investment in its employees and thus in their future. (Further) training is one of the most important instruments for attracting and retaining skilled workers. Through this qualification program, we want to strengthen our colleagues in their leadership role in order to achieve long-term growth together and be successful in the market,” explains Karin Danner, Head of Human Resources at Alzchem. “We look forward to the start of this project together with our employees and are convinced that it will sustainably strengthen our company and our employees.”
This initiative underscores the Alzchem Group's commitment to the professional development of its employees and the continuous improvement of work processes. We are convinced that well-trained and motivated managers are the key to lasting success.
