Welcome to Alzchem: 44 trainees start their careers today
Alzchem, one of the largest trainers in the region, welcomes 44 trainees at the beginning of the new training year on 1 September. As in previous years, the training quota of nine percent is far above the national average.
Trostberg, 1 September 2023. 44 young people are starting their careers at the Trostberg Chemical Park today in this year's cohort - eight of them as industrial clerks, six as electronics technicians for industrial engineering, six as industrial mechanics, twelve as chemical technicians, eight as chemical laboratory technicians, two as IT specialists for system integration, one as a warehouse logistics specialist and one as a technical product designer. As part of the Verbund training programme, Alzchem offers apprenticeships on behalf of Master Builders Solutions Deutschland GmbH and for BASF Construction Additives GmbH.
This means that Alzchem currently has a total of 154 prospective skilled workers on board, including six dual students (for mechanical engineering, chemtronics, business administration and chemical engineering). This corresponds to a training rate of 9 percent -4.2 percentage points above the national average.
"It is important to us to continue to offer people in the region a variety of apprenticeships - we have succeeded in doing so. We are pleased that we are again able to guide and accompany so many young people starting their careers this year. We provide you with the basis so that you can be our future," says Chairman of the Board Andreas Niedermaier. "Welcome to Team Alzchem!"
"As one of the largest trainers in the region, we stand for versatile and, above all, future-oriented training. I wish you every success on your career path. You can count on getting a reliable foundation for your future career from us. And then: stay curious and interested, because personal development is also important in order to be able to experience joy and fulfilment in your job in the long term," says Alzchem training manager Christoph Huber.
Next come three exciting welcome days for the trainees: Divided into occupational groups, the schedule includes an introduction to the most important computer programmes and processes, getting-to-know-you games and a plant tour. In addition, the future skilled workers all receive tablets that are used in their daily work and which they are allowed to keep at the end of their training.
While the apprentices take their first steps into their profession in 2023, the application process for the start of training in September 2024 has already begun.
Young people who are looking for an interesting and varied apprenticeship can still submit their application documents until 23 September 2023. Further information on the training programme is available at www.alzchem.com under the heading "Careers".
