"Reason to celebrate": apprentices' release ceremony at Alzchem
On April 18, 2023, the Alzchem Group released 39 happy trainees into their professional lives at its release ceremony.
11 ladies and 28 men have now successfully completed their training. Of the 39 trainees, a total of 35 will be taken on as employees by Alzchem, BASF, ASK and the MBCC Group, while four will leave the Trostberg Chemical Park.
Alzchem training manager Peter Lerchner welcomed the former trainees: "Passing the training is really a good reason to celebrate - and that's what we want to do today! Particularly as we have been able to record many particularly good graduations this year. The additional honors testify to the high level of training at the Trostberg Chemical Park."
There were a total of 13 state awards from the vocational schools - for results below 1.5 - in addition, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce honored ten of the young people for an examination result with a grade up to and better than 1.5. In addition, 15 of this year's graduates had already taken their exams early in the summer due to special achievements, among other things.
Alzchem CEO Andreas Niedermaier: "Congratulations on your next stage in life. Today you may reap the reward for the efforts of the past years. From now on you are trained professionals who are in great demand on the job market. We are very pleased that you want to continue to be a part of Alzchem and shape the future together with us."
Works Council Chairman Karl Held quoted the ancient Greeks. "The gods put sweat before success". With these words, he encouraged the former trainees to always be willing to learn and to continue to learn and have the courage to make changes. After all, willingness to perform and commitment pay off - as can be seen today in the very good results.
Training enjoys a high priority at the Trostberg Chemical Park: for many years, the training rate has been at least nine percent, far above the average of 5.5 percent in the chemical industry in Bavaria. The Trostberg Chemical Park offers the following eight apprenticeships: Chemical Technician (m/f/d), Chemical Laboratory Technician (m/f/d), Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering (m/f/d), Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d), Industrial Clerk (m/f/d), IT Specialist System Integration (m/f/d), Technical Product Designer (m/f/d) and Warehouse Logistics Specialist (m/f/d).
Peter Eder, Managing Director of BASF Construction Additives GmbH emphasized: "You can be really proud of your degrees and what you have learned. I wish you continued enjoyment in your future professional lives and that your interest and curiosity in learning will always drive you forward."
Currently, 123 trainees are employed at Alzchem. On September 1, 2023, 47 young people will begin their training at Alzchem.
Interested students, together with their parents, can get an extended insight into the training on June 30. On this day, the Discoverer Day will take place from 3-7 p.m. at the Trostberg Chemical Park.
