Responsible Care is a contribution to the joint sustainability initiative Chemie3 of the three partners Verband der Chemischen Industrie e.V., IG Bergbau, Chemie, Energie and Bundesarbeitgeberverband Chemie e.V. By participating, each company simultaneously makes a contribution to the sustainability initiative Chemie3.

Based on preliminary figures, AlzChem Group AG recorded a very positive business development in the first half of 2021 that was significantly above plan. Group sales improved year-on-year from EUR 197.3 million to EUR 215.3 million.

Nigu Chemie GmbH in Waldkraiburg has been merged with its parent company AlzChem Trostberg GmbH with effect from July 1, 2021. The agreements already concluded in this regard are expected to be entered in the commercial registers of the companies involved in the second half of July.
